Underfloor Heating – Cut in System

This is one of the most popular used systems. It is the cheapest and safest under floor heating system.
The heating elements are installed into channels about 5mm to 8mm deep cut into the screed floor surface using specialized dust free cutting equipment . A very effective and recommended method, almost entirely eliminating the potential for post installation damage typically caused during on-site building operations .In addition, the potential for damage to the heating system resulting from any future re-placement of floor tiles is significantly reduced. This system means better distribution of heat as the wires are placed 100mm apart.
The cut in system can be used in all floor types including carpet and laminated flooring.

Underfloor Heating – Under Tile

A Heating element is distributed across a screeded floor surface where it is secured and covered with a protective mesh and self leveling screed. Providing a surface over which the finished flooring is laid.
The total thickness of the heating installation is a maximum of 2.5mm and does not affect floor levels for tiling purposes. Suitable for all floor types

Underfloor Heating – Under Carpet

Primarily for under carpet heating. Especially manufactured heating pads in various shapes and sizes are placed between the under felt and the carpet to suit the required heated area. Installations are very clean, quick and effective, and is typically co-ordinate with the carpet installer to ensure that installation is simultaneous with the laying of the new carpets. Similarity, existing carpets can be lifted and refitted on the same day.
The warmth from the pad can be felt almost immediately, making under carpet heating more economical.
The element is covered with a thin layer of aluminum foil which acts as an earth shield. This eliminates the risk of electric shock or fire hazard.
